April 17^th, 2015 Dr. Deng Mingyan has been invited to give a speech on the topic “world heritage and tourism” for faculty and students in Lijiang Normal College on Friday. This event was launched in No. 324 lecture room and was hosted by Yang Liping, the Director of the School of Tourism and Economics. Major guests attended the lecture including Professor Zhang Bo, the Head of Science Department, and over 200 faculty members and students who major in tourism management, hotel management and travel guidance in School of Tourism and Economics.

        About the lecture, Dr. Deng first started up with the topic of “world heritage tourism was hot”, and explained the term “world heritage tourism”. Then combining with the tourism developing process home and abroad, she answered the question why the world heritage tourism was hot around the world from the perspective of “the multiple value of the world heritage”. And she further explained the sustainable development of this sort of tourism with insight of new trend and features in the tourism market evolution. Finally, Dr. Deng encouraged the students to build up their sense of heritage protection, and also incented them on promotion of world heritage culture in their future related tourism careers.
