Recently, our province held a special promotion working meeting, which officially declared the name of application for the heritage to be" Shudao world natural and cultural heritage" and initially identified the area for heritage application. In March 23rd, a reporter got news from Urban-Rural Planning and Construction ＆Housing Security Bureau in Guangyuan city that whole inscription areas are more than 3700 square kilometers, of which 2000 square kilometers are in Guangyuan province.

The planning areas for application heritage include 4 ancient Shu roads which are Jinniu road, Yangping Road, Micang road, Lizhi road and 22 counties which are in Guangyuan City, Mianyang city, Deyang city, Bazhong city, Nanchong city and Dazhou city.apart from Lizhi road, other three roads pass Motian mountain, Mingyue gorge, Jianmen pass and south foot of Daba mountain in Guangyuan city. It is said that they have already finished preliminary investigation and will start the heritage conservation planning in 2015. They hope that the planning can be finished at the end of this year.

The world natural and cultural heritage is the compound heritage with world natural heritage and cultural heritage, which can be found only 45 sites in the world. There are only 4 sites in China，one of the heritage is the Mount Emei-Leshan Giant Buddha.If the declaration gets success, Sichuan will become only province to own two Sites of world natural and cultural heritage.
